Corporate gifts have a shelf life of about four seconds before they're in a landfill or a drawer nobody opens again.

So instead of another branded stress ball, over half a century of COX's built work, spanning from Philip Cox's earliest buildings to current international work, got turned into a deck of cards. Selection came first: 48 projects pulled from decades of practice, balanced across sectors, studios and disciplines. Each project was narrowed to one shot worth illustrating, then illustrated individually. From there it was reviewing every detail, print test, checking clarity, alignment, scale, colour, spelling.

The deck shuffles, deals, and gets used, which is the whole point. Decades of work, represented in something you can hold in one hand.
